This review covers the cell biology of the higher plant shoot apical meristem (SAM). The first section describes the molecular basis of plant cell growth and division. The genetic mechanisms, that operate in meristem function and the identification of several key regulators of meristem behavior are described in the second section, and intercellular communication and coordination of cellular behavior in the third part. Finally, we discuss some recent results that indicate interaction between the cellular regulators, such as the cell cycle control genes and developmental regulators.14aANGIOSPERM14aSHOOT APICAL MERISTEM14aCELL DIVISION14aCELL ELONGATION14aSIGNALING12aTraas, J.12aDoonan, J.H.40uhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1gvOnXotS87ut0Wi8Rewom6ZBfd35IK1I/view?usp=drivesdkzPara ver el documento ingresa a Google con tu cuenta: @cicy.edu.mx 2LoccREF1250602s9999 xx |||||s2 |||| ||und|d c19922d19922 00102Loc40708F1aCICYbCICYcREd2025-06-25l0oB-9737r2025-06-25 14:06:18w2025-06-25yREF1
