We present an analysis of the composition and structure of one of the few patches of late-successional-mature deciduous forests left in the State of Yucatan. Mexico. We found 54 !'pecies with a minimum DBH of 1.0 cm. The forest was dominated by GJlmnopodjum jlorjbundum var. antigoniojdes with an importance va)ue (IV)of 35.36. or 11.88
